As a third-generation New Braunfels resident, she deeply understands the city and its unique needs. She has an extended community involvement and leadership history, having served in various roles for organizations such as the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Business Alliance, and the Wein and Saengerfest.
Her work as Outreach Community Coordinator for New Braunfels-based Pak Medical Group has given her a valuable perspective on the challenges facing the city’s residents and businesses. If elected, Mary Ann will be a dedicated representative who will listen to her constituents and work tirelessly to find solutions to the city’s infrastructure, economic development, transportation, public safety, affordable housing, property taxes, and preserving the city’s downtown historic district. She will strive to maintain New Braunfels’ small-town appeal while positively managing growth. I understand that New Braunfels is growing, and I am committed to positively managing this growth while preserving the city’s small-town appeal. I am eager to meet with you and listen to your priorities and concerns, so I can work to find solutions to the city’s most pressing issues, such as infrastructure, economic development, transportation, public safety, affordable housing, property taxes, and preserving the downtown historic district. I believe that New Braunfels is a special place, where “In New Braunfels last dos Leben Schon” (In New Braunfels the Living is Good), and I am committed to giving back to my community and doing my best as a community leader.
